BENEFITS

While psychological services are not currently covered under Alberta Health Services, most work benefits and extended benefits (such as a Health Spending Account) provide some coverage to off set the cost of services. There is great variety between insurance plans so it is encouraged that you contact your benefits provider to gather this information.

A detailed receipt will be provided upon payment received. Payment is required at the time of the parent feedback, when the report is provided for assessments or at the time of the counselling session.

Payment can be made via credit card (most major credit cards are accepted Master Card, Visa, American Express), etransfer, cash

Psychological services are exempt from GST and may qualify as a medical expense for income tax purposes. Clients are typically billed directly for services rendered and a detailed receipt will be provided to you to submit to your extended benefits provider for reimbursement.
