PARENTING SUPPORT OVERVIEW


Providing a caring, nonjudgemental and supportive environment to support parents struggling to develop parenting skills and coping strategies to address the challenges being a parent presents


Provide services to the Brief Conflict Intervention Program through Alberta Justice to advocate for the children and support to separating/divorcing parents to develop co-parenting skills and interventions to lessen the impact of this stressful life event on the children. These services are referred and paid for by Alberta Justice on behalf of the Brief Conflict Intervention Program​

Assessment for children, adolescents, adults


Gifted, Westmount Charter School Application, Psychoeducational, PDD/AISH, Post-Secondary, ADHD/ADD


At the completion of an assessment one will have a better understanding of their learning profile and will be provided a comprehensive report identifying learning strategies and recommendations specific to the individual's learning style that will help them conquer their barriers to learning and meet their learning potential


All assessment include: initial parent meeting, test administration, scoring and interpreting or results, report writing and a parent feedback meeting at which time the formal report will be provided.

COUNSELLING OVERVIEW

Therapeutic approaches include Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Trauma Sensitive Therapy, Therapeutic Play, Psychoeducational constructs and Biofeedback Interventions​
